Zush overview

Zush is an AI file renamer and organizer for Mac. It creates descriptive filenames from file content and metadata, and can move renamed files into folders based on your instructions.

AI Folder Sorting (beta) lets you choose a destination, group files automatically, or write your own folder rules. Review suggested names and destinations together before applying a batch. Suitable existing folders can be reused.

Build consistent filename patterns with Naming Blocks and Custom AI Blocks. Save naming and folder rules in a Template, use it with folder monitoring for incoming files, or import and export Templates to reuse the setup on another computer.

Zush handles PDFs, photos, RAW images, screenshots, Office and iWork documents, EPUB/FB2 ebooks, design files, audio, and video. Choose Zush Cloud AI, a supported provider key (Gemini, OpenRouter, OpenAI or Claude), or compatible local models through LM Studio or Ollama. Activity history lets you restore original filenames.

The free starter includes 50 AI renames across all AI modes. PRO removes the limit and costs $10/month or $48 as a one-time purchase on the Zush website. Requires macOS 15 or later.
